September Game Night Moved

Due to conflict issues at the library, the September Game Night has been moved up one week to September 9th.  We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you there.

July Game Night

July 15th is the next Game Night and the library will continue to expand our stock.  The new games and activies in June were great and now we are looking for even more! And thanks to your donations from last game night, we will not only be able to continue to offer you more activities and games, but continued support will improve our snacks and refreshments as well! if the donations continue, maybe we can have a "banquet" of food and snacks!  Thank you for all of your support and participation.

New Additions to Game Night

Thanks to donations from the Midwinter Library Benefit, we have been able to expand and improve on Game Night.  Newest to the list of improvements include:

• Sony Play Station 2
• Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and other Play Station 2 games donated by Activision.
• Band Hero for the Nintendo Wii
• Dominion Card Game
• Castle Panic Board Game

Game Night Continues:

Remember, its not just computers.  Along with all of our different game systems, including 2 Nintendo Wiis, a Nintendo Game Cube, and two Dance Pads (Similar to DDR), individuals have started bringing other activities.  You are welcome to bring any games and ideas to the event! Some of the ideas we have tried include:

• Collectible Card Games like Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and World of War Craft.
• Collectible Model Games like Dragon Dice, War Hammer, and Battletech.
• Role-Playing Games like Shadowrun, Stargate, Serenety, and D20 Systems.
• Board Games like Chess, Monopoly, Battleship, Hangman and Axis and Allies.
• Computer Games like Runescape, Roblox, Age of Empires, and Project Torque.
• Game Systems like Nintendo's Wii and GameCube, Microsoft's Xbox and Sony's Playstations.
• New ideas are not only welcomed, but encouraged! Let us know what you want!
