March Teen & Tween Game Night Cancelation
The Warren Public Library’s March 27th “Teen and Tween Game Night” has been canceled due to unavoidable circumstances. The next “Teen and Tween Game Night” will be held April 24 at 3:30pm in the Slater Room.
International Game Day Scheduled!
The ALA has declared that the International Game @ Your Library will be held the third Saturday of November from now on. This year, that falls on the 16th of November. This event starts at 12:00 PM and will finish up approximately 4:00 PM. Special events will be announced as we approach the event date as well as the awards/prizes. Hope to see you there!
2013 Teen & Tween Game Nights!
As of January, 2013, Game Night will be the last Wednesday of the month. The only exception to this is the November (2nd) and December (18th) Game Nights. New calendars are already available.
Remember, its not just computers. Along with all of our different game systems, including 2 Nintendo Wiis, a Nintendo Game Cube, and two Dance Pads (Similar to DDR), individuals have started bringing other activities. You are welcome to bring any games and ideas to the event!
If you have any questions about this, or any other gaming event at the library, feel free to contact Dale Aikens for more information.
Volunteers Wanted
The Game Night is looking for parents and adults who would like to assist in the operation of the Game Night. If you have students that participate in the event or you just want to help the community, the event can use assistance with event operation, setup and/or tear down, food deliver/preparation, donation collection, & etc. Anyone wishing to help or wanting more information can contact Dale Aikens. For those of you that have helped in the past, from all of us at the library and the students attending... Thank You.
