The Hamlin Memorial Library is a member of the One Screen McKean online catalog.

The Smethport Library has had many homes since it was founded in 1892 . It's current building on Mechanic Street was constructed in 1991. Thanks to a great deal of construction in 2009, a new conference room and a new Children's Department have been seamlessly added to the building.
