In these tough economic times, we often need to make hard decisions regarding books we can purchase and the number and types of programs we can offer. Librarians often find the need to present programs for a wider age range of children. During this workshop, we will talk about mixed-age programming, and book, activities, and storytelling methods that will engage a wide-age range of children. After a brief focus on programming for ages 0-3, the majority of the workshop will focus on books and programs for children preschool age through second grade.
This workshop is made possible with LSTA funds.
