Summer 2009 ![]() May wrapped up our classes until September. Thank you all for joining us for the classes. I certainly enjoyed working with you.
If you left your reservation fee with us while you took classes this year you have until July 31st to pick up your refund. Any money left with the Beckley Lab after that date will happily be considered a donation to the classes. The circulation desk has a list of students who have not been refunded, just stop in and pick up your fee. My thanks for a wonderful time.
Please continue to visit our Open Labs on Tuesday afternoons from 2-5 p.m. and on Friday mornings from 9- noon. These Open Labs are subject to staff availability as we take our vacations too. Please check first before coming to the library. Thanks.
Have an idea for a class? Send us suggestions for classes to beckleylab@warrenlibrary.org
![]() Remember, all classes scheduled in the Beckley Room are limited to 10 participants unless noted so reservations are required.
Summer Tech Tip : Consider carefully before taking expensive electronic equipment to the lake, mountains or hiking; sand, dirt, and water can do a lot of damage to laptops and cell phones. This applies also if you like to canoe or kayak. I've found several dry sacks that work for cameras, cell phones, gps', and even Nintento DS. These waterproof sacks also protect was dust and sand. Unfortunately, other than a bear barrel, a long rope and a tall tree I haven't found much to protect equipment from bears. |
