Summer Beginner Series 2010  Our summer beginner computing series of classes have now been scheduled. Below is a list of the dates for the classes, please check our event calendar on our website for more details or call the circ desk at 814-723-4650.
Classes scheduled for this summer include our Absolute Beginner's Class. This class has been scheduled multiple times from July 20 through August11 and you can sign up for one class or as many as you wish. Remember, this class is limited to five participants, reserve early. There is no prerequisite for this course, you don't even have to know how to turn the laptop on. There is a refundable reservation fee, returnable at the end of the class.
Our other beginner classes are on the schedule now also. You can sign up for Introduction to Email, Introduction to the Internet or Introduction to Windows 7. These classes all require the ABC class or a good working knowledge of how to use a mouse. Class list for July/August 2010 Most classes are scheduled at 5:30 p.m. and run for two hours. The dates with stars also have an afternoon class scheduled. Please check our Library Event Calendar for times, or call the circ desk at 814-723-4650. Summer Tech Tip: Sand can ruin expensive electronic gear. Waterproof and sandproof covers can be purchased for many cameras and cell phones.
